My main medium is acrylic, which I paint on canvas. I am
drawn to strong colors and I get very clear images in my
mind's eye of what I want to create.
When inspiration hits me, it is like a strange itch that will not
go away until I bring that image to life. The result is a
collection of vibrant abstracts with intense, saturated colors.
I like to experiment with different textures and iridescent
colors that give a painting a very dynamic appearance. It is as
if they are alive and show a different side when you see them
in changing light or various angles.
My paintings are usually born in my head, a complete picture,
and all I have to do is put them on canvas. They are inspired
by the people that I am painting them for, or the space that
they will hang in. Sometimes inspiration just hits for no
obvious reason and a picture is born. I enjoy the effect my
paintings have on people; I want to know what my pictures
